The BAUUC Men's Group will be having its annual Goat Roast, 6:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19th. All men and boys of the church are invited.

The BAUUC Men's Group will be having its annual Goat Roast, 6:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19th, Peter Taylor will be hosting this year.

All men and boys of the church are invited. There will be good food and the traditional talking-stick ceremony. Alcohol is BYOB. This will be a cigar-friendly event, but inside will be smoke-free. Also, street parking is limited, so please carpool if possible.

Peter will maintain a web page at http://home.earthlink.net/~peter.a.taylor/goat_roast.htm with information on who's bringing what.

We need an approximate head count so we know how much food to prepare. Please let Peter know by email if you're coming, even if you've already told him in person. If you're not mentioned on the web page, he's forgotten the conversation. Also, if you want to be anonymous, say so in your email.

This is almost pot luck, so if you decide to come at the last minute, you can just grab some food and show up, but we do actually need a certain amount of coordination. Peter will guarantee that there will be some food that doesn't have meat in it, but contact him if vegetarian food is important to you. (He will also be responsible for the head count.) Typically, we have enough goat meat to be able to say we had some, but the main dish is barbecued beef. We will pass a hat to pay for the meat.
