Our Lifespan Religious Education (RE) program promotes the religious, spiritual and intellectual development of people of all ages and stages of life. We offer classes and activities designed to foster personal growth, and it is through these activities that we hope individuals will reach their highest potential.
We have a dedicated RE Council, wonderful volunteers and the support of the congregation to implement our goals. We are always seeking volunteers and input to make our program even better.

A unique aspect of Unitarian Universalist Religious Education is that we not only teach our own values, principles and history, but we teach what others believe as well. We do this with the hope of opening the minds of our children as they begin their own spiritual journeys. As they walk the roads of our RE program, we won't be providing all the answers, but we will guide our young people on the path of discovery and greater understanding and respect.
Our high school religious education program is YRUU – Young Religious Unitarian Universalists. The YRUU program is designed using the Unitarian Universalist Association's six pillars of balanced youth programming: Worship, Leadership, Social Action, Youth-Adult Relations, Fellowship, and Learning.
The group has devoted considerable time to social action and service in the community and church and regularly participates in area and district events.
Spirit In Practice is the Sunday morning curriculum. The curriculum affirms religious diversity while seeking unity in the communal quest for meaning and offers a forum for learning, sharing and growth
Please visit the YRUU website for more information on the youth program.

As a church community we provide support, encouragement and a "safe home" for individuals’ quests for personal development. We strive to provide workshops and activities that meet the intellectual and spiritual needs of our adult community.

We are offering three opportunities in our Youth Music Program. 1) On “Choir Sundays", we will have a music class for children birth through age 5 between services. It will be filled with rhythm, dancing, singing and lots of fun. 2) Interested students in first through fifth grades will meet weekly between services to sing songs celebrating our UU heritage or expressing UU principles and learn to sing as an ensemble. 3) An older choir, grades 6 and up, is currently meeting after second service (12:45 – 1:15pm). We hope that all children will join us regardless of their musical background. Choir can be started at any time in the year just by attending a practice.

In addition to our regular Sunday morning RE classes, the RE Council regularly sponsors special events, seminars and programs for all ages. We offer Multi-Culture Week in the summer, Wednesday Night at the Church classes and opportunities for intergenerational fellowship and learning.

BAUUC is currently conducting a search for a new Director of Lifespan Religious Education (DLRE).
The Religious Education Council aids the DLRE in establishing the church school curriculum and setting policy for the religious education program. It assists in recruiting and training teachers, providing program help, arranging worship services and special events, providing curricula and ideas and promoting good parent/church-school relations.
