Bay Area Unitarian Universalist Church

Programs

The Speaker and Events Committee serves the Church to promote informed thought and discourse consistent with Unitarian Universalist values on domestic and international issues important to the Clear Lake/Galveston Bay communities. To achieve this goal, it intends to present at least four informed and qualified speakers each year on as many topics. Additionally, it hopes to present occasional cultural activities, such as poetry readings, either as one of the four or additional programs. Speaker and Events Committee programs are promoted and open to the public. In most cases, an admission donation of $7.00 per person is suggested. On occasions that might be higher. Members of the church, as well as local residents, are encouraged to suggest topics and programs they would like the Committee to explore.
